Just a few months ago, Cirque du Soleil LUDÕ rose up from the water’s depths at Vidanta Vallarta-Nuevo Nayarit.
Held on December 12, 2025, the world premiere of LUDÕ attracted more than 700 attendees, including international celebrities such as Tyra Banks, Paula Abdul, Mario Lopez, and Rebel Wilson. What these audience members saw and experienced that evening prompted multiple standing ovations.
Housed in a state-of-the-art theater atop Wonder Bay at the upcoming BON Luxury Theme Park, LUDÕ fuses the spectacular acrobatic feats for which Cirque du Soleil is famous with aquatics and cutting-edge technology to create a 360-degree immersive—or, as some might say, submersive—environment like nothing ever seen before.

Water is the vital element in this production. In this powerful story, our main character, Ludovico, a theater director who feels his creativity has faded, discovers a mystical cenote that was once sacred to the goddesses of water. There, he enters a dreamlike state in which water becomes both muse and mirror. Within this setting, the scenes unfold like waves on a serene surface. Each act is a fragment of resurfaced memories, a rediscovered life, and revitalized sense of wonder and creative passion.
Like its sister production Cirque du Soleil JOYÀ at Vidanta Riviera Maya, LUDÕ also deploys gourmet cuisine to help tell its story. Audience members who opt to experience dinner can expect three inventive courses aligned with the action and themes presented onstage.
Now, on your next vacation you too can see the second creation by Vidanta and Cirque du Soleil and the biggest revolution in live entertainment in Mexico. LUDÕ runs continuously throughout the year between Tuesday - Saturday.
