As the tour concludes, guests will gather under the refreshing shade of Almaverde’s 100-year-old parota tree to watch one of Vidanta’s esteemed chefs prepare a family-style meal using the farm’s own produce. The multi-course feast might include such dishes as a zesty salad of freshly picked greens, tomatoes set off by the farm’s peppery basil, irresistible New York steaks and a special catch of the day sizzling on the grill, or a wholesome chicken roasted with spices and served with sweet corn. Soak in the last of the afternoon with a slice of homemade seasonal fruit pie, and taste the care applied to every step of this remarkable operation.
