Exciting news for your vacation: the all-new Quinto is now open at Riviera Maya!
This unique culinary destination shares the same name as the flagship rooftop spot in Nuevo Vallarta, and the same rustic charcoal grill concept, but that’s where the comparison ends. Now offering breakfast to guests of Grand Luxxe and The Grand Bliss, and dinner to all, Quinto at Riviera Maya is a serene gastronomic getaway. Here are six reasons this meal can’t be missed:
Same Charcoal Grill, New Specialties
Rather than simply duplicating the Nuevo Vallarta location’s menu, Quinto Riviera Maya’s Chef Gilberto Arce thoughtfully curates local flavors, amplifying that natural appeal with the famous charcoal grill. The result: a menu featuring both beef—including the restaurant’s specialty, a whopping 40 oz. porterhouse—and lighter seafood fare like trout sashimi. Expect luxurious takes on comfort food as well, including lobster mac and cheese, creamy quinoa, and maple Brussels sprouts.
Dinner in the Round
The new Quinto is stationed in a beautiful round stand-alone building topped with a conical palapa roof, just beyond The Beach Club, in a corner of Salum Beachside Market and Eateries. In other words, you get a sensation of seclusion, plus the ultimate panoramic view of Caribbean waves rolling just outside the softly curving floor-to-ceiling windows. In this gorgeous setting, the views are the perfect pairing to the gourmet fare.
Elevate Your Experience
While the main dining room of Quinto Riviera Maya is perfect for group and family dinners, the restaurant’s stylish layout also boasts a quieter second level, perfect for couples looking to savor a sexy dinner. The curved balcony seating allows for a more intimate dining experience, perfect for watching the sunset while enjoying your date’s company—or your own.
Natural Allure
The new Quinto boasts a casual luxury anchored in its nature-inspired décor. Dark wood tables and mirrored accents gleam by moonlight, while the rugged rock wall and stone inlays give the room wild, raw appeal. Rattan chairs and warm woven textiles recall the thatched roof, as large potted plants and ceramic tile add brightness and airy ease. The result is a restaurant that feels markedly high-end while reflecting the charm of the unruly jungle wonderland just outside.
Drink It In
While many restaurants relegate the bar experience to a dark corner of their establishment, or do away with it all together, Quinto’s bar is at the center of the restaurant’s concept—quite literally. In the very heart of the circular dining room is a large round bar of tile and marble. Directly above it hangs a grand beaded chandelier, perhaps the most notable design element of the entire restaurant. This gorgeous bar makes for the perfect place to sip from Quinto’s wide selection of cocktails, from urbane classics to tropical concoctions.
Bohemian Majesty
Quinto is the first establishment to open in the brand-new Salum Market and Beachside Eateries area. As soon as this April, guests dining at Quinto will be able to wind through an all-new Mercado México, free to peruse stores offering handcrafted art and gifts made by local artisans; a beachy assortment of clothing and accessories; and a host of street food-style carts and stalls. Be on the lookout for more info about the full Tulum-inspired beach village experience, which will be fully open for exploration soon.
Be sure to visit Quinto on your next trip to Vidanta Riviera Maya, and make sure you bring your appetite.
