Pamper
If you live somewhere cold, you know that layering clothes is a must (though at Vidanta, we prefer the warmth of the Mexican sun!). When it comes to your skincare you can do the same thing. Start with a toner first, then layer a serum or oil of choice, and then top with a moisturizer to seal it all in.
Consider the skin type and changes that happen in winter too; during low temperatures, oily skin becomes similar to combination skin, and more normal skin types act dry, while dry skin begins to suffer from more than usual. But not to worry! An extra thick overnight mask or cold cream will do wonders.
Melt
Bath time! Everyone needs a warm luxurious candlelit bath every now and then, especially after the craziness of the holidays. We recommend roses for uplifting mood and soothing tired spirits.
Step 1: Pour a warm bath at the temperature that suits you. Avoid very hot water, which dehydrates the skin.
Step 2: Pluck the petals from a bouquet of roses (organic is best to avoid pesticides that may irritate your skin).
Step 3: When the tub is halfway full, drop the petals under the running water. Let the stream of water disperse them, while infusing the bath with the roses’ soothing properties.
Step 4: Pour coconut milk or lavender (or both) under the running water to elevate the experience. (Coconut milk softens your skin and lavender deepens your relaxation.)
Step 5: Slip into the bath and be blissed out!
Sip

Ingredients
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacao
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ashwagandha root powder
1 tsp of grated nutmeg & ginger to taste
1 ½ cup almond or coconut milk
1 tsp coconut sugar, honey, or agave syrup to taste
Directions
Pour the milk in a pan. Add the dry ingredients, stirring until they’re all combined nicely on a medium/low heat. Bring to a simmer. Add your sweetener option and stir until dissolved. Pour into your mug and enjoy!
