The Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta 50th Anniversary Tournament kicks off a set of five competitions happening across our destinations.

The Vidanta Vallarta Course Anniversary Tournament on May 11 truly celebrated the sport’s enduring spirit and Vidanta’s pursuit of the extraordinary. Yet beyond the thrill of competition lay the heart of the event: a shared passion for golf that brought participants together in a spirit of camaraderie and festivity.

The tournament provided the perfect setting for golf enthusiasts to connect and bond, from lively conversations on the fairways to new friendships forged over a specially designed signature welcome cocktail at the scenic 10th hole on The Lakes course.

After participants received their exciting welcome kit, the Putting Contest added an extra dash of excitement before tee-off, with players showcasing their skills amidst cheers and applause.

The allure of the fabulous O’Yes prizes motivated players to give their best at strategic holes. From the sleek Club Car golf cart at Hole 13 to the electric scooter at Hole 5 and the grand prize of a flight for two to Europe at Hole 17, each swing promised a victory and an unforgettable adventure.

As the tournament drew to a close, attendees gathered for the eagerly anticipated Closing Event. Putting, O’Yes, and raffle winners were awarded in a jubilant atmosphere while everyone delighted in a splendid international buffet—it was the perfect finale to a day of amazing golfing!

Former soccer pro Jorge Campos best summed it up: This tournament was challenging and worthwhile. Playing today at the Vidanta Vallarta Course, home of the PGA Tour, was extraordinary. Happy anniversary, Vidanta!
